6회 The Three Refuges(삼귀의)

A: Hi, do you know what the three refuges are?

B: Of course, I am a Buddhist. We recite them at every Buddhist ceremony.

A: What are they?

B: They are:

 I take refuge in the Buddha.

        I take refuge in the Dharma.

        I take refuge in the Sangha.

A: Aha! Those are the three refuges! I heard them last time at Jogye Temple.

B: Really? Have you been there?

A: Yes. one of my friend wanted to meet me there. That day she was late, so I waited for her there for 30 minutes.

B: I think it is such a beautiful temple, don’t you?

A: Yes, I think so too. I’m grateful that there is such a beautiful temple in this city.

A: 안녕, 너 삼귀의가 무엇인지 아니 ?

B: 물론, 나는 불자야. 우리는 매 법회 때 마다 삼귀의를 해.

A: 뭔데?

B: 그것은 ‘부처님께 귀의합니다. 가르침에 귀의합니다.

   스님들께 귀의합니다.’ 이지.

A: 아, 그게 삼귀의구나. 저번에 조계사에서 들은 적이 있어.

B: 정말? 거기에 가본적이 있니 ?

A: 응, 친구 하나가 그곳에서 만나자고 했는데

그날 그 친구가 늦어서 30분을 기다렸어.

B: 참 아름다운 사찰이야. 네 생각은 어때?

A: 응. 나도 그렇게 생각해. 그런 아름다운 사찰이 이런 도시에 있다는 것은 감사한 일이야.
